Once you arrive, a waiting coach will take you to the iconic Larnach Castle, where you’ll explore its grand interiors, hear its intriguing stories, and wander through its award-winning gardens, for a self Guided Tour. 

You will have around 2.5 hours at the castle.

After your visit the coach will take you along the stunning Otago Peninsula towards Dunedin City, there is an optional added visit to Glenfalloch Woodland Gardens where you can wander the gardens visit the cafe while enjoying the beautiful harbour and garden views.

The bus will return and you’ll be conveniently dropped back in the city, completing a seamless, efficient, and unforgettable Dunedin experience and shortening the journey and saving doubling back as other tours do, that do not incorporate the ferry.

The driver will provide  a commentary along the way and you will see out some points of interest before the conclusion of the tour and before you are dropped off in Dunedin City for your own free time. 

You can return back to Port Chalmers at your own convenience.

There are cruise ship shuttle and public busses in Dunedin that you can connect with to return you to Port Chalmers at your own convenience and time.

Please note that passengers join us from 39 Peninsula Beach Road, Port Chalmers. A flat and paved walk from the cruise ship terminal building of approx 10 minutes.
