A special cruise that goes from Otago Harbour, Port Chalmers, Portobello or Wellers Rock to out past Taiaroa Head, the ocean and to the coast of Karitane.

Karitane is a small holiday township north of Dunedin. Known for its beautiful coastline, friendly people and a relaxed holiday feel. What better way to arrive, then by boat!

If conditions are suitable we will head into the Karitane Harbour to berth at the fisherman's wharf so you can enjoy a walk to the beach, nearby. 

If conditions are not suitable for this we will remain onboard and enjoy the peace and sights from the coast and a glass of wine, perhaps!

This cruise is weather dependent and the final call on whether we sail or not will be made by the skipper one or two days before. If we do not sail we will offer you another sailing date. If the new sailing date doesnt suit you, we can fully refund you.

Numbers are extremally limited so as to give passengers personal space and comfort.

Feel free to bring food and drink along with you, as we'll be away for up to 5 hours.

We leave at 4pm and return you to your starting point by approx 8:30pm, enjoying magic of the sunset over the hills and the harbour lights, on our return.

This cruise is not suitable for children.

Lifejackets must be worn the duration of the cruise. These will be provided and are comfortable and of the  inflatable vest type.

Default pick up location is Port Chalmers. Please write in your notes if pick up is from Portobello or Wellers Rock wharves.
