We will travel from Back Beach, across to Quarantine Island, where you will be able to see two old ships in their graveyards, laid to rest here almost a hundred years ago.
You will travel to the site of the worst disaster on the Otago Harbour to remember the and learn about the disaster that occured here in the 1863.
We will talk about and point our other point of interest along the way such as the resting site for other harbour hulks that have since been buried deep under the wharves and the sea. We will look around the working Port of Port Chalmers and see the boats around Careys Bay.
Children and adults alike will be amazed to learn and see other things too, such the harbour birds and wildlife.
This tour is a special event for school holidays.
